My trip to Hotel Island - Spa & Wellness Hotel was fantastic! the "superior spacious suite" was perfect for our group of friends, offering plenty of room with three double beds. the included breakfast was top-notch with a wide variety of Nordic choices and hot options like pastries and bacon. the spa was a highlight, especially the hot soaking tub - a great way to unwind before our flight. The staff at Hotel Island were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even allowing us to check in early at no extra cost. Our room had a lovely view of the ocean and a fantastic shower with plenty of hot water. the cozy Christmas decorations added to the warm atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a drink in the evening. The location, though slightly out of town, was a pleasant 20-minute walk along the sea path with stunning views. the spa, though small, was very relaxing with separate saunas and a communal hot tub. the restaurant served delicious local lamb, and the cocktails were excellent. Overall, Hotel Island provided a clean and safe place for us to enjoy a comfortable night's sleep. the attentive staff, cozy atmosphere, and proximity to both the city center and outdoor attractions make it a great choice for families or groups visiting Reykjavik. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Iceland!
